This may seem like a strange choice...It isn't. Once this is posted I shall pack for an overnight to Dallas. The trip is for a grant review committee on which I sit as an advocate reviewer. We will help to decide where the money that we all work so hard to come up with is spent...and hopefully a cure for breast cancer will be found in our lifetime...

That is a wonderful thing. I am a 2 year Bladder Cancer survivor and for every dollar spent on Breast Cancer research brings us all closer to a cure. Love the tie. Happy Valentine's Day and Pink Saturday.

Thanks everybody! The trip went well. The Panel discussions were good and the committee did a great job! I had a good trip in spite of the persistent congestion...lol...I even won a hand made vase made by one of the science managers. It is a hobby of hers..I chose a large orange striped one...Alas there was no pink...but I thought this one to be lovely and that it would lokk good among all the pink here...I will be sure to post a picture in a later post!
