I'll be going to Sunset Beach, in Southern North Carolina...Not too far from our beloved North Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC
We haven't had a vacation since 1997 when we cruised from Ft Lauderdale, Fla to the Bahamas. Cruising made me very dizzy, so I really didn't enjoy it very much. I've been in bad health since 2007 and my only vacations have been trips to the hospital! But I feel pretty good now, so we are renting a cabin on a lake for a couple of days. We've been tossing around the idea of going back to our favorite all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana in the Caribbean, but haven't made any set plans yet. Vacation will be determined by our time-frame of moving back to Seattle - we might hold off on an actual vacation if we end up driving across country instead! ;)
Hi Stacy, you know I went to Punta Cana once a couple of years ago...I went by myself for 4 days and it was lovely...I had been given a round trip ticket to anywhere as an award and my husband did not want to pay so...off I went...I even swam with the dolphins...Good choice!
