"I BELIEVE IN PINK! I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."— Audrey Hepburn

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every night, friends. You have done what you could. Let it go.

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Anything But Sweet...A Review and Giveaway!!

Hi There, So right off the bat I need to mention that I received this "sweet" paperback as part of a huge bundle of goodies in July (yes July, don't judge) From Avon! I got a huge box filled with book goodies because I am an AVON ADDICT:) You can see my badge over there on the right hand side bar:)

Anyway, I digress, majorly...Among all of those goodies, was a few copies of this little gem! I chose to read this one first! I just loved this the moment I started reading it:) Here is the premise:

Welcome to Candis Terry’s Sweet, Texas, a sexy new contemporary series where the wild Wilder brothers find love in a town that, despite its name, is anything but sweet...

War and the deaths of loved ones have changed Ex-marine Reno Wilder’s attitude. Now this military man is ready to settle down into a calmer life. So when Sweet is chosen as a destination for a makeover TV show, he’s less than pleased about the potential disruption to his routine.

Headstrong show host and designer Charlotte Brooks arrives in Sweet ready to change everything, including Reno. Locked in a face-off neither saw coming, will they be able to find common ground and realize that a life together could be sexy…and also very sweet?

I know, right!?!

Now, here is an excerpt:

At the moment they may be like fire and gasoline, but something in his eyes said Reno Wilder was a man worth fighting for. And Charlotte's heart was more than willing to take a chance.
His gaze swept her face, lingered on her mouth, then came back up to her eyes and held. His thick dark lashes lowered on a slow blink. When she thought her heart would knock through her ribcage, he cupped her face with his strong hands, lowered his head, and brushed her mouth with his warm lips.
"I'm sorry you had to fight for your Father's attention"He whispered against her mouth. "But you definitely have mine"Then he kissed her so slow and sweet she thought her hammering heart would shatter.

OK, that's enough! If you want to read the rest you have to buy the book...or win it here...all you have to do is leave a "sweet" comment...Prizes will be drawn on Friday August 16, 2013!

Oh, my review...Well, I said already that I really loved it as soon as I started it. It is a quick, fun, sweet read. Did I say fun? This is a Beach read for sure and I do look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series...I have to find out what the rest of the brothers are up to! If you are looking for a deep, intellectual kind of book this is not for you...but there are plenty of those out there...this one is pure love and fun and tortured hero...So...
